Marked Trails

Kandersteg offers a circular route on the Sunnbüel first to the Stock and then returning to the cable-car station. Another possibility is the trail which takes you from the village up over the Höh to a wonderful scenic viewpoint and back to the village. » Panorama Kandersteg

Snow shoe tours

The route along the banks of the frozen Oeschinen Lake is particularly impressive. You can test your snow-shoe prowess on new snow by following, a few metres to the side, the Gemmi winter hiking trail.

Deep snow tours are recommended for the Sunnbüel and Gemmi ski areas.  Just follow the partly snow-covered tracks of ski tours through the Larch forests to a magnificent viewpoint and you will have an unforgettable experience!
